Serbia's logo rate before itself at a 2016 conference

Abelard Tahiri, deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, has returned an event when Albin Kurti in 2016 attended an organised conference with the support of Serbia's GEN, energy mafia-related company and Martin Berisha, Kosovo Ambassador suspected of involvement in large distribution and trade schemes [...]

From conferences with Serbia-based GEN to affordable electricity bills for Kosovo citizens
Plans for misuse and corruption in the energy sector are old and well planned. They didn't start yesterday. Since March 2016, at a conference in Slovenia, organised with the support of Serbian company G EN, Albin Kurti gave speeches for “Kosovo at a crossroads”. With him, the co-organist was Martin Berishaj today a protagonist of the largest electricity trader.
This was no coincidence.
It was the Serbian-based GEN company, during Kurti's governance, who benefited millions from funds dedicated to the Kosovo energy sector. All of this was done through a common political and economic network that has today brought serious consequences to the country.
The two biggest failures in energy hold the government's signature:
• Rejecting the US gas pipeline project that would link Kosovo to the Western network.
• Analysing the construction of the thermo-power plant “New Kosovo”, a vital project supported by the American company Contour Global.
The consequences? They pay citizens today. At affordable energy prices. With an increasingly difficult life. With poverty that deepens and responsibilities lacking.
