Kiev, Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted after another nightly attack on the capital Kiev, where the city faced hundreds of fears and 14 ballistic missiles.
In a post on the X platform (former-Twitter), Zelensky said the attack targeted civilians and that the Odesa regions, Winnitsia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kiev and Dnipro suffered considerable damage.
With any such attack, the world is increasingly convinced that the cause of the stalled war lies in Moscow,” he wrote, stressing that much stronger pressure must be exerted on Russia to achieve results and launch true diplomacy.
Zelensky called on the United States, the European Union and other international partners in Ukraine to impose new stricter sanctions on Russia, so that Moscow is forced to accept an end to the war.
This response comes at a time when tensions and the extent of attacks on Ukraine have increased significantly, while the international community faces new challenges to prevent the escalation of conflict. /Periscope/
