At least eight people have been killed, and more than 30 others have been injured across Ukraine in fears and Russian rocket attacks overnight, regional officials have said.
Four deaths were reported in Ukraine's western Kmilnytsky region. Three other deaths were reported in the Kiev region and one in the southern town of Mykolaiv.
This comes a day after Kiev suffered one of the most serious attacks since the beginning of the Russian occupation, writes BBC, broadcast the Express newspaper.
The Russian Defence Ministry said its air defence units knocked down or seized 95 Ukrainian fears over a number of Russian regions, including Moscow, during a four-hour period Saturday evening. No casualties reported.
The frightened attack forced a brief suspension of all flights to Moscow airports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin began a full invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, and Moscow currently controls about 20% of Ukrainian territory.
This includes the Crimea ) Ukraine's southern peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014.
In a Facebook statement, Khmetnytsky regional leader Serhiy Tyurin said four people were killed and five others were injured in Russian attacks.
“Six private houses were destroyed and another 20 were damaged”, he added.
Kiev's regional leader, Mykola Kalashnyk, said three people were killed and another 10 were injured.
He posted photos of several houses burned after the Russian attacks on social networks.
In Kiev, local officials reported 11 injured, numerous fires and injuries to residential buildings, including a dormitory.
Hundreds of people were seen sheltered at the downtown subway stations. It comes as the capital marks its annual Kiev Day holiday on Sunday.
In Mykolaiv, Ukraine State Emergency Service The DSNS said the body of an elderly man withdrew from a five-story residential building hit by a drone. Five other people were injured.
