Six people were killed in nighttime attacks in Han Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, said agency spokesman Mahmoud Bassal. Among them were two boys five and two when an attack hit a building in Al-Mavas.

This agency then said ten more people were killed after an attack on a tent in Al-Mavas, among them a child and seven women.

The Israeli army has not yet commented on these attacks.

However, in a statement published on Sunday morning, the Israeli Army said it has “covered more than 100 terrorist targets throughout the Gaza Belt” in the last two days.

Israel also claimed weapons have been found and “a number of terrorists” south of Gaza have been killed.

Israel launched its military offensive in Gaza on March 18th, after two months of ceasefire in its fight against Hamas the Palestinian group declared terrorist organisation by the United States and the European Union, which was prompted by the attack of the radical Palestinian group in Israel on October 7, 2023.

The Health Ministry, in Hamas-led Gaza, has said at least 2,436 people have been killed since Israel resumed the campaign in Gaza, causing the total number of victims to reach 52,535.

Israel has also blocked remittances with humanitarian aid to Gaza. According to Israel, the blockade aims to pressure Hamas to release the remaining hostages he took on October 7th when he killed about 1,200 people and kidnapped about 250 others. /Periscope/
