In a speech to the lawmakers of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, on the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Agreement, Dodik declared:“Give us freedom, confirm the existing sovereignty, guarantee our Dayton Agreement, our political independence and independence from Republika Srpska, and we will be your business partners. ”

Dodik, who has long sought a partition from Bosnia, is this time playing with the economic and strategic charter, offering “exchange with major international actors such as the US, the EU, China and Russia.
Give us a framework that respects the Dayton structure, constitutional competencies of entities. ”
But that requirement comes at a tense moment for the Serbian leader. In February, he was sentenced to a year in prison and banned from holding political positions for six years, for violating constitutional order and rejecting the decisions of the top international representative in Bosnia.
The Bosnian court had also called for INTERPOL's intervention for an international arrest warrant, but that request was rejected./Periscopi/
