The decision was made by the mayor, Smajl Latifi, under local self-government laws and environmental protection. According to the official document, thanks to the citizen's indictment, the case has been handled by municipal Inspectorate and identified and punished by the cause of pollution.
The decision reportedly aims to promote civic engagement and strengthen public awareness of conservation of the environment in the municipality of Rahovec.
The municipality reports it will continue with this practice in the future, inviting citizens to be active in maintaining the environment.
