Prosecution File: Spy suspect sent BIA information to participants in Syria

The Constitutional Court in Pristina on Wednesday 7 April has scheduled the 30-day detention measure against Hysri Selimi, suspected of spying.
According to the Special Prosecutor's File of the Republic of Kosovo, provided by “Justice Trust“, Hysri Selimi is suspected that from the indefinite date to his arrest on May 6th 2025, as recruited by Serbia's Intelligence and Security Agency (known as BIA), helped work this service in the form of collection and the sending of information concerning radicalised persons and the number of their participation in the war in Syria, as well as for senior political party officials, and information about security institutions in Kosovo.
In return for this service, the prosecution says BIA officials at meetings in Serbia have paid Selimi up to 700 euros, and have given him smart phones to communicate with BIA officials.
Through these actions, according to the prosecution, Selimi has seriously endangered and damaged the constitutional judicial order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.
Therefore, for these actions, Hysri Selimi is suspected of criminal activity “Spy” by Article 124, paragraph 3 of the Republic of Kosovo penal code. /Betimy for Justice/Periscopi/
