The group was arrested in early April 2023, in a Kosovo Police action at various locations in Pristina and Pec. Until the investigation started a year earlier, in 2022.
In the prosecution's decision to close the investigation, the state prosecutor says that following the assessment of material evidence, the protection of suspects and the intelligence of the secret measures report, there has resulted in no evidence to establish the indictment against the suspects.
The lawyer of one of the suspects in question, Aurora Mulhrama, has confirmed to the online newspaper Reporter.net, closing the investigation into her client and others.
According to her, the prosecution from the beginning has had no evidence and warns that her client will exercise civil lawsuits on compensation for the damage.
The investigation into the case, against 16 suspects, was closed on August 9th 2024.
