Professor Vjollca Dibra Ibrahimi, who said that although she reported the case to the police, no action has been taken.
I, Vjollca Dibra Ibrahimi, professor at the University “Uktin Hoti” in Prizren, publicly testify to a serious event that took place on May 16, 2025, in university venues where I was directly and threatened by my colleague, prof. Your Majesty Millaku. His statement: “It was done in the presence of two witnesses and directly influenced my state of health and emotional health. I've received immediate medical assistance and have been diagnosed with an acute “reaction on stress”. I've reported the case to the police, but no action has been taken so far. Even the university where I work has offered no protection, though the event occurred in the official spaces of the institution and in front of colleagues. I feel daily fear and deep concern for my safety. This institutional silence is a moral and legal responsibility. Therefore, through this public statement, I request urgent action by the Prosecutor, Police and University to ensure a thorough investigation, protection of the victim, and punishment of any act of violence, whether verbal or physical, within educational institutions. I'm not just a victim. I am also a voice that speaks of all women who are often silent with fear. The institutions should act, not silence. She said.
Otherwise, the case has been denounced at the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prizren and witness statements have been issued, so far no legal action has been taken on the part of this prosecutor.
