“Foundation Procurory in Prizren, the RWA Crime Department, has filed charges against defendants B.K., A.R., V.K., Mr.T., A.E., H.B. and A.T., due to the suspicion that the same suspects in co-ordination have carried out the criminal work “due to official position or authority” by Article 414 par. 2-1 regarding Article 31, the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK)”, the Prosecutor's State Office said.
According to the indictment, <x0 during the time period of October 12th 2018 until December 2019, in Suhareka, the aforementioned accused, as construction officials for construction work, for the construction of SFMU “Vaso Papa Shkodrani” in the village of Trnje, worth 294,154,79 euros, using the official duty or authority, not fulfilling their duties with the aim of benefiting the other, the Economic Operator NPN, I.” NPN, E.”, in the manner that the first defendant B.K., in the quality of the project manager, has changed the building project of the above-mentioned school without ignoring the design company by accepting jobs contrary to the signed contract, with rules and operational road map for public procurement”.

In this case, contracting for additional jobs with the same economic operator worth 29,202.60 euros, thus causing financial damage to the Suhareka municipality budget”, the prosecution's announcement said.
It points out that with these actions, the same have committed criminal work “Use of official position or authority” according to the KPRK.
The prosecutor of the case, in the case of the establishment of the indictment, has proposed to the court that after maintaining judicial examination, testing management and assessment, the high-ranking indictees for the criminal work for which they are accused of being convicted and sentenced under law”, the prosecution's announcement concludes. /Periscope/
