In a Facebook post, Rama announced that the municipality has mobilised all alternative capacities to manage the situation and has stressed that citizens will not be left without services because of it, as he said, anyone's “political calculations”.
Pristina citizens do not deserve to face situations that affect public health and civic dignity. Our teams have been working 24 hours during the weekend, and on Monday day it is expected to be restored to normal”, Rama wrote.
Rama sharply criticised the use of public companies as a blackmail tool for narrow political interests, pledging that the era of sabotages and misuse of public money would end.
I am not and will not be part of political deals. My attitude is unchanged always in the interest of citizens”, Rama said.
The mayor thanked citizens for their understanding and mobilization in preserving the purity in the city, stressing that citizens have already understood the “sequence of sabotages being done at their expense”.
The situation with waste management has prompted numerous reactions in public opinion, as citizens have faced large garbage collections in many parts of the city. The municipality has promised stable solutions and worthy service to the capital. /Periscope/
