The Pristina municipality has announced that tomorrow some of Pristina's main entrances will be provisionally closed, due to a protest warned by the Kosovo Economic Oda.
The protest will take place from 10:00 to 12:00, as a sign of opposition to the process of liberalising the electricity market, which is expected to take effect on June 1st 2025.
The Komuna announcement says that the areas affected by the impasse are: Entrance by Veternik and Gjilani, including the road near Albi Mall and the under Veternik (executors from Ferizaj, Gjilan and Airport), the entrance from Fushe-Kosovo and Mitrovica, specifically in the Grand Circle of Lakzija (Dukagjen Tower) and the entrance from Podujevo, to the Vranjevc neighbourhood, including the area of the former Himmanist and the crossroads near Raiffeisen Bank (United access to Poduyva and Dragodan towards Shk Orbojkollakt.
Cars of participating businesses will be positioned on the streets, temporarily enabling circulation in these segments.
