Police, with help of KSF, save two foreign nationals on Kosovo mountains

Kosovo police said that in the early hours of the morning, they have saved two foreign nationals on the Gottovusa village of Shtrpca. Police said those from Brezovica were headed for a mountain walk in the Sharr Mountains, while then they had lost their way. <x)

“Around 20:50, Ferizaj Regional Police, respectively, has accepted information that the two climbers had lost their way and were somewhere in the mountain area of Sharr, but did not know exactly their whereabouts. By means of an audio recording, they had shown their plight and inability to proceed further”, says the report.
Ferizaj police said they have immediately undertaken the necessary <x0 operations, activating relevant units and seeking the assistance of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as the Kosovo Mountain Rescue Research Service”.
After several hours of intensive research and coordinated efforts, at 22.05.2025, around 3: 00 p.m., the two foreign citizens were found in the mountains of Gottovshe village”, the report said.
They were immediately transported by ambulance to the House of Health in Shtrpce. According to doctors, police reported that their <x0 situation is stable, except for a slight leg injury to one of them”.
