Kosovo police have announced that on May 29th 2025, Thursday, at a time interval between 10:00 and 12:00, a protest organised by the Kosovo Economic Oda (OEK), with the participation of different businesses from the country, will be held.
The protest, which has been warned in a short period, will be calm and with the partial impasse of some of the main entry routes in Pristina, through the deployment of heavy vehicles by participating companies.
According to Pristina Regional Police Directorate's official announcement, protesters will be positioned at these key points:
Veternik direction to the entrance of the city,
Circle at Kazerma direction Fushe Kosovo Pristina,
The Arberia District ʹ heads to Mitrovica Pristina,
Vranjevci é Sharbans running Podujevo Pristina.
Police announce they will be active on the ground for maintaining order and public security, as well as managing and reorienting traffic on alternative roads. Citizens are required consensus on eventual delays during protest hours and suggest avoiding the mentioned roads to avoid unnecessary jams and loads.
Police stress that during co-ordinating meetings with organisers, legal obligations and restrictions have been highlighted, including halting the overall deadlock of public roads.
In the end, Kosovo Police call on citizens to respect the guidelines of police officials on the ground, contributing to the peaceful prosperity of protest and the preservation of general security. /Periscope/
