The operation has been conducted at the exit of the “Arber Xhaferi” highway, where, after a well-organised plan and tactical action on the ground, two people were travelling in a car from Pristina's direction to Ferizaj have been detained. During the search, an amount of the alleged narcotics substance of marijuana, divided into several packages, other relevant means and cash ready in various currencyes, police report.
“Based on further investigative actions and allegations raised, search has also been conducted in a residential location in Pristina, where additional evidence related to the case, including the suspected narcotics substance in considerable quantity, measurement equipment, ambalncing material and cash, has been seized.
A total of 1,559.80 grams of suspected narcotics type, two vehicles, two mobile phones, narcotics-sharing equipment, and a total of 6,265 euros before ready”, the report said.
All evidence is documented by relevant forensic units. All actions were announced by the Founding Prosecutor in Ferizaj, the Randa Crime Department, where a decision has been issued at the prosecutor's order to detain suspects for 48 hours, police confirms.
While in the second case, the Narcotics Trafficking Investigation Unit (DHTN) Gjakova, in co-operation with DHTN-Pristina, reports that following an intensive investigation has implemented today the arrest of four people in connection with the cases of growing and distributing narcotics, which had started in 23,04.2025 in Prizren. Some 175 cannabis plants were seized during this preliminary operation.
“Today, during the arrest of the other suspect in Pristina, a raid has been carried out involving 461 grams of cocaine, a Golf 7 cash car and mobile phones.
The detainees have been detained for 48 hours with the State Prosecutor's decision near the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Prizren. Meanwhile, another suspect is being sought by authorities”, the report said.
Investigations are continuing in co-ordination with justice bodies, police said. /Periscope/
