The Democratic Party of Kosovo after its regular chairmanship meeting today has proposed a meeting with all parliamentary political subjects that the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, would call it.
The PDK said it is not avoiding any meeting in the interest of citizens.
“In this spirit, we consider that the president of the Republic, as a super-party institution and with a legitimate mandate, could take the necessary steps to call a meeting with all parliamentary political subjects. A comprehensive table could be the right step to find the way out of the” institutional crisis.
Osmani had earlier expressed readiness to welcome party leaders to discuss the unblocking steps of the country's institutions.
The PDK said that by the end of the February 9th elections, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has held meetings with all parliamentary political parties, including the Vetevendosje Movement, though it says it considers it the main responsibility for the current crisis.
“This commitment is an expression of our belief that dialogue and co-operation are the only way out of political crises and to restore institutional normal”, the party said in a statement after the chairmanship meeting.
