The Democratic Party of Kosovo has held today the regular Assembly of Headship, in which it said it has discussed recent political developments, institutional blockade, as well as current political proposals and initiatives.
The PDK said it supports the stance on a government consisting of parties that have been in opposition.
“The PDK engages and is convinced that the best solution for the country is forming a new government, composed of parties that in the previous mandate have been in opposition. A government that would stop institutional degradation would take Kosovo out of international isolation and implement development policies for all citizens indiscriminately. With an agreed list of state priorities that would turn Kosovo back on track to development and Euro-Atlantic integration”.
Such a stand has been repeated today by AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj, who demands government with opposition parties.
The PDK for institutional crisis held Vetevendosje responsible, however, said it is for a meeting that would call President Vjosa Osmani with all parties.
“In this spirit, we consider that the president of the Republic, as a super-party institution and with a legitimate mandate, could take the necessary steps to call a meeting with all parliamentary political subjects. A comprehensive table could be the right step to find the way out of the” institutional crisis.
