Mayor Dr. Elmi Berisha said that after meeting with Kosovo Parliament deputy Artan Behrami.
“Today I waited at a special meeting, Artan Behrami, deputy of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly”, he said.
During this meeting was widely discussed on the process under way at the Special Court in The Hague to leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, men of freedom who led a fair fight for the liberation of the people of Kosovo from an oppressive and criminal regime.
Federation V ARA, like the historic and institutional voice of the Albanian diaspora in the United States, expresses its firm belief in the purity of the liberation war and requires that the judicial process in The Hague be fair, impartial and guarantee the transparency our history deserves.
“The VATRA stands next to leaders of the KLA who are today unjustly held away from their homeland, with the conviction that justice will prevail and once again seal the legitimacy of our freedom struggle” said the chairman of the Pan-Albanian Federation of America, Vatra Elmi Berisha.
