During today, President Vjosa Osmani and KFOR Commander Enrico Bardoni held meetings at the country's first office.
Through a presidency announcement, it becomes known that Osmani during his meeting with Bardonin highlighted the current security challenges in Kosovo, with particular emphasis on border security and the necessity for prevention and avoidance of any attempts to destabilise Serbia.
Furthermore, the president noted the importance of continued co-operation and bilateral engagement.
“The president and commander of KFOR reaffirmed the joint commitment to continued co-operation, in line with NATO's mandate and joint interest in peace and stability in the region”, the Presidency's announcement said./Periscopi/
