Osman awaits US congressers, Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic road, steadfast goal

In this meeting, in addition to the current political and security situation in the country, discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between Kosovo and the United States, with particular focus on the field of defence, investment and further advancement of bilateral relations.

President Vjosa Osmani stressed that strategic partnership with the United States of America is the main pillar to ensure long-term stability in the Western Balkans. She underlined that every time the US was involved and played an active role in our region, sustainable solutions have been reached and significant progress has been noted.

Similarly, the president expressed his deepest thanks for the continued presence of American troops in our country, stressing that this commitment has been fundamental to maintaining security and stability in the most difficult moments. She underlined that American assistance and support offered since the most challenging days are evidence of steadfast friendship and common commitment to peace and prosperity in our region.

Thanks to congressers for US support of Kosovo, President Osmani stressed that close co-operation with the United States is also vital for the realisation of the country's Euro-Atlantic goals, which remain a steadfast goal for the Republic of Kosovo.
