It becomes known that during the meeting, Rafuna has presented business attitudes and demands, stressing the urgent need for delaying implementation of the price of energy expensive decision of 16.1% for at least a year.
“This period would serve as a transitional phase in order for businesses to have time to adjust to new market circumstances and so that legal and technical infrastructure for full functioning of the free market” can be prepared.
“Although we understand the need for investment in the power grid, coverage of this transition phase must be accompanied by institutional support, in this case by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, to enable the delay of the decision to go out on the free market for businesses that employ over 50 persons or have annual circulation of over 10 million euros”, the Economic Age reported.
In addition, Rafuna said postponing such a decision would be in the function of protecting local businesses, maintaining economic stability and in the direct interest of the country's citizens.
