Many citizens and cars have been waiting for 0900 this Saturday to open the tunnel to switch to the other side without problems.
This tunnel will be open and free for the entire summer tourist season by September 15th.
With a length of 5.9 miles [5.9 km], this tunnel significantly shortens travel time to the south coast, distance from Dukati to the Palace, which until yesterday took place in 30 minutes, citizens will now cross it in just 7 minutes.
