Today the embassy of the Republic of Kosovo opens in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia, marking a special moment and an important step in Kosovo's commitments for strengthening ties with Southeast Asian countries and expanding its diplomatic presence in this strategic region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore reports.
In an MPJD Facebook post, notes that Malaysia has been one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo's independence, and that opening the embassy in its capital represents a testimony to mutual commitment to advanced co-operation and deepen relations built on mutual respect and understanding.
The opening of the Embassy in Kuala Lumpur is not only an extension of our diplomatic presence but also a concrete expression of our will to build bridges of friendship, co-operation and development with one of the most dynamic regions in the world. We are grateful for Malaysia's continued support and dedicated to bringing this partnership to new levels,” Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Minister Donika Grovalla said.
The Kosovo Embassy in Kuala Lumpur aims to serve as a new bridge of co-operation in the fields of diplomacy, trade, cultural exchange and support of Kosovo citizens in this part of the world, the announcement said.
