The pet waste processing factory scandal

The month after us, Periscope reported on one of the minister's biggest scandals in office, Faton Peci.

An illegal contract signed by Pec himself with doubts about a corrupt scheme, favour and interest.

Millions of assets, surveillance equipment, trucks, property, and machinery were given to an economic company, which was registered five days after the tender opened.

On September 18, 2024, AUV, announced public calls for the factory's underagement for processing animal waste.

Just 5 days later, on September 23rd 2024, the Business Record Agency registers the company that would later be announced winner of the tender: BEP KS & SH.C. IT.

Of the findings and documents Periscopi has provided, it turns out that the main owners of the consortium are Naser Maloku and the Italian company LIPIALIA 2000. P.A., each with 40% of shares, while the third company is ARCHES BAU, with 20% shares.

The Food and Veterinary Agency has published the web site for all economic operators on September 18, 2024, but the winning name has not been published. This agency has not used the same transparency criteria with the winner, keeping him from opinion.

Periscopi learns from sources within the Ministry of Agriculture that the contract is being deliberately kept hidden by the media and the public, raising doubts about the favour of an economic operator registered in the ARBK, five days after public announcements have emerged.

Grant scandal

Peci had been released with co-partisans in granting.
