German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has reacted after calling Trump-Putin, where it has been discussed about the way the two countries achieve peace. He said Ukraine would support the ceasefire, while Europe would increase pressure on Moscow through sanctions.
On the “X” network, Merz said “Europe and America are very united at this point: We will closely support Ukraine on its way to a ceasefire. Europe will increase pressure on Moscow through sanctions. We agree with the US president after his conversation with Putin”.
