On the morning of this Saturday, he was hosted in prime ministerial facilities by Prime Minister Edi Rama, where both leaders shook hands and realised an official photograph before the joint press conference.
This marks Macro's second visit to Albania in a short time, but is the first time his wife, Brigitte Macron, has accompanied him.
At 9:30 a.m., the signing of a series of bilateral agreements that include the areas of defence, tourism and energy.
Then, around 10:00-10:15, a joint statement to the media by the two leaders is planned.
The agenda will continue with the participation of Rama and Macron at the international forum “Future Investment Initiative”, where internationally recognised figures such as Jared Kouchner, American President Donald Trump's son-in-law, and former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi are expected to participate. /Periscope/
