Lost Albanian life in Italy, hit by truck at a construction site

In Vernio municipality near Pratos in Italy, an Albanian has lost his life in the workplace, broadcasts albinfo.ch, Periscope.

It is said that the event took place today around 11:00 a.m. in the Via del Bisenzio area in the village of Mercatal.

The victim is a 56-year-old native of Albania who was working on the dismissal of construction materials from a truck stopped on a slope. Because of the loss of pulling to asphalt, the vehicle has suddenly been moved to crush the worker and then ended up in a ditch by the side of the road.

Referring to Italian authorities, the worker was employed by a company that carried out activities on behalf of State Railways. Emergency ambulance 118 arrived immediately at the scene, but doctors could not do anything to rescue him by consisting of his immediate death.

At the scene, firefighters, Carabinieri, municipal police and ASL Centro Prevention Department inspectors also intervened, who are investigating the circumstances of the accident and security measures at the shipyard.
