The first phase of consultations and preparations for the 2025 local elections was officially launched today; at a meeting with LDK branch chiefs.

Over the following weeks, the LDK will develop an open and comprehensive process for selecting candidates for mayors and asmblastists. Our aim is to identify people with integrity, professional skills, and willingness to contribute with dignity to the service of citizens in every corner of the country.

The LDK invites all who share political vision and fundamental values like ours, as well as those who have the will to be responsible for representing citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, subsequently of the respective municipalities to become active parts of this important process in the service of municipal public interest.

The LDK remains home to stable values and clear vision for the development of municipalities. Therefore, along with our broad membership and any citizens committed to a better Kosovo, we will become an active part of this journey. Prepared and jointly engaged will bring once again convincing victories and dignified representation in every municipality of the country.
