Local elections, the CEC comes up with an announcement

In response to the CEC's request, MAPL's official paperwork is based on the number of residents in municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo from the population census conducted in 2024.
Relying on Article 36, paragraph 1 of Law No. 03L-040 for Local Self-Government, the number of members in a municipality's Assembly should be proportional, depending on the number of citizens in the municipality, except the Pristina Assembly, which according to paragraph 2, consists of 51 members. /Periscope/
If the municipality has as many as 10,000 citizens, the assembly of that municipality consists of 15 members;
If the municipality has 10,001 to 20,000 citizens, the municipality consists of 19 members;
If the municipality has 20,001 to 30,000 citizens, the municipality consists of 21 members;
If the municipality has 30,001 to 50,000 citizens, the assembly of that municipality consists of 27 members;
If the municipality has 50,001 to 70,000 citizens, the municipality consists of 31 members;
If the municipality has 70,001 to 100,000 citizens, the municipality is comprised of 35 members;
If the municipality has more than 100,000 citizens, the municipality consists of 41 members.
