The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will meet today to review the letter sent by Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti, regarding the possibility of co-operation in forming new institutions. “I'll present my position within my headship. I can't publicize it before we discuss it with colleagues. Of course I've got a mood, but I'm going to expand it right over there”, Quinn said about Indexline.
Meanwhile, yesterday (May 5th 2025), incumbent Prime Minister and VV leader Albin Kurti has sent a letter to LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku. On paper, Kurti expresses readiness for a political agreement between the two parties, with the aim of constitutionalising the assembly and advancing the new legislature.
The letter comes at a time when political parties have not yet begun formal talks on forming new institutions after the last elections. Kurti underlines that, according to LDK deputies' statements, an agreement is necessary to move forward.
