The lion was killed when he was 23 years old as he crossed the border of the former Yugoslavia that divided Albanians into Kosovo and Albania, which he often went through because of his studies, but also the opportunity to carry out shares against Serbian forces and carried arms to supply KLA fighters. May 6, 1997, is the anniversary of his fall and is marking the loss of a nation's homeland and patriot.
