From May 26th to June 9th, Kosovo will be a host of the largest international exercise “Defender Europe 202518x1>, led by the United States military.
In addition to the US and Kosovo, Albania, Croatia, Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria also participate.
Some 12,000 soldiers from the US and 19 allied countries will participate in the eight host countries of this exercise, including Kosovo.
For Kosovo, this will be a return to this exercise, since in 2023, despite the association, it was expelled because of tensions in the country's north.
This year's organisation, former Army African Veseli, values Kosovo and the US as trust and partnership.
