EU High Representative Kaya Kallas visited Kosovo yesterday. Immediately after arriving in Kosovo, she held a brief press conference. At the conference, it called on political parties to establish new institutions sooner.
“Formalisation of the new Assembly and the new Government is essential for Kosovo's stability and growth, as well as for the European future of Kosovo”, Kallas said.
She also spoke of EU measures, where she stressed that the EU has gradually begun their departure but must not have escalation of the situation in the north. After the conference, Kallas met one of the three opposition leaders. Initially, she held a meeting with PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi.
The latter, via a Facebook post, spoke about the meeting with the EU High Representative. He said he announced that the PDK is willing to make its contribution to resolving the current political crisis. It was a pleasure to meet Mrs. Kaya Kallas, European Union for Foreign Policy and Security High Representative during her visit to Kosovo. We discussed political developments in the country and the need for institutional stability and Kosovo progress towards European integration. Mrs. Kallas I announced that the PDK has given and remains ever ready to make its contribution to resolving the current political crisis, as well as to protecting civic and state interest. ”

After him, Kallas also met LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, who at the meeting unveiled the idea for the sweeping government.
