KOMF protests before the Assembly: Your chairs are no better than children's life and well - being

The Coalition of Children's Protection Organizations KOMF protested before the Kosovo Assembly by motto: your cards are not worth more than the life and welfare of children”.

In the protest that was held in “Debrahim Rugova” Square, prior to the Kosovo Assembly, shortly before the start of the Constitutional session's 20th continuation, responsibility was sought by MPs.

KOMF Director Donjeta Kelmendi said the purpose of this event is to promote the reflection and institutional responsibility of MPs to the difficult reality many children face in Kosovo and the needs of children.

As a consequence of this blockade, many policies that directly affect the welfare and life of children continue to remain unapproval.
The KOMF requires MPs to reflect on the weight of their responsibility. The KMF considers MPs should assume their constitutional and legal responsibility to act urgently to ensure the protection of children's rights. Any decision that fails or delays to take for children is a burden that children pay with health, well-being and often their” life, she said. /Periscope/
