In Response KMSK stressed that if public interest is high, then all affected by tragedy should have access to understanding, privacy protection, facial coverage and discrimination.
“According to the Ethical Code, the media must respect people's right to mourn and must report, showing empathy and restraint. The media should respect the suffering of the victims and the feelings of their families. Also, the media must exercise caution with photos and images, and should consider public sensitivity during reporting”.

Among other things, it is said that the media should not publish photos or videos from the site without covering the identity or body of victims after the accident, incident, violence, natural disaster or criminal acts.
“The operation of such photos or videos will be considered an insult to the feelings of victims' families and sensitive to the public. Written media should not publish news with photos or videos featuring victims or missing persons and the same in reporting to be identified by name and surname. Exception from the publication of the name and surname are cases where there is public interest for victims or missing persons”, the KMSK response reported.
KMSK adds that journalists and media must keep in mind that it is necessary to protect the identity of victims.
“Publicating the identity of the victims depends on public interest and remains in the media discretion based on the ethical code. Victims in the video photo must cover faces or at least part of the eye. Care should be taken when reporting dead bodies or bodies to wound, images of blood, and”.
