O V L-KLA letter Yerenelli to Special: It turned into a political weapon, it's a witch hunt.

Through this letter, veterans have expressed deep concern for the Special Court, stressing that it has lost its purpose.

According to O VL- KLA, what should be a court of justice has become a political weapon.

“We are writing to you from the Association of Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL-UÇK) to express our deep and growing concern that Kosovo's Specialised Chambers have lost their goal. What should be a court of justice has become a political weapon. And your administration, more than anyone else, knows what happens when justice becomes political, becomes pressure”, says the letter.

We ask you to raise this matter with your administration. The American taxpayers did not send his hard-earned money to Europe to finance a court that violates the very values America stands for. President Trump is rewriteing the rusty rules of political control of the independent judiciary, and under new rules, this court must close. It's a disgrace to American justice and to American values”, further said on paper.

President Trump, his administration and you personally realized something that the rest of the world forgot: freedom is not granted. Freedom won. And most importantly, freedom is protected. We, veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army, defended that freedom. We fought against one of the most brutal regimes in Europe. We buried our brothers and sisters. We lost homes, limbs, and families. But we never lost our trust in democracy, in freedom, in the promise of America that justice and freedom go hand in hand. When the war ended, we didn't catch up with guns, but we left them. Our dermament, demobilization, and reintegration were among the most successful in history. We helped build a democratic Kosovo. We turned fighters into citizens. We followed the example of America because we believed in it. Our leaders voluntarily resigned to prove the purity of our war. Because when justice is right, truth prevails. What about the Special Chambers? This is not justice. This is a witch hunt”.

President Trump knows better than anyone else when justice is taken by political elites, it becomes a tool to silence patriots. This is what this court has become. A means to silence the very people who brought peace, who banned genocide, who defended freedom. There was the resignation of chief prosecutors, judges and legal officials from this court, and this was no coincidence. He was a conscience. They found that this court had become a machine of political persecution. It took a corrupt prosecutor, in dark circumstances, to file charges. And you know, you know better than those lawsuits were designed to sabotage your peace initiative in the Oval Office during President Trump's first term. A peace that was attainable. That prosecutor rushed back to America after causing his injury, hoping to manipulate the will of the American people. He failed badly. Because America has been built over centuries of freedom, rule of law, constitutional greatness. What about this court? This court is built on ideas of bureaucratics and friends who think that justice is a tool for power, not a purpose in itself”.

Our Vice President, our chairman and elected deputies voluntarily went there. They have nothing to hide. But you can't defend yourself in a courtroom built to suppress your voice. This is not justice. This is an ugly trial. Dear Ambassador, we're addressing you not as politicians, but as veterans for veterans. Brothers in arms. Freedom defenders.
