US soldiers assigned to NATO-led mission-led Regional East Command KFOR have participated in a donation ceremony at the Kosovo Police station in Kamenica.
Donations made by KFOR for Kosovo Police reportedly have enabled the improvement of family rooms supporting victims of domestic violence. This investment aims to create a safer and more suitable environment for the recovery of victims.
“These efforts are part of the daily mission of KFOR's Civil Co-operation Team to support all communities living in Kosovo.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 to contribute to a safe and sustainable environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to ensure freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union for Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responsible for”, KFOR's Facebook report said. /Periscope/
