In announcing the NATO mission, members were trained to evacuate the injured in real conditions, including loading and firing patients during air operations.
“The international exercise ensures that all participating states in KFOR are willing to respond standardised and effective to any medical crisis”.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all citizens and communities in Kosovo, as well as to ensure freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
