KFOR gives details of World War II bombing in Kacanik

KFOR has provided details of the controlled bombing of a bomb dating back to World War II in Kacanik. The bomb weighing 250 pounds [250 kg] had been found by local residents near the river.
“The preparation and execution of this event have been carried out in line with international standards to provide security for the local community, under the direct supervision of KFOR Commander Enrico Bardini”, the report said.
This supervised explosion has also included the KSF, as part of the drill. Meanwhile, Kosovo police have been monitoring the area. /Periscope/
