KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Bardonini has met with Italian Ambassador to Kosovo Maurizio Antonini today.
“Today, the commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Bardoni, visited Italy's Ambassador to Kosovo, His Eminence Maurizio Antonini, at KFOR headquarters in Camp Film City in Pristina”, said in KFOR's Facebook post.
Bardonni and Antonini have talked about the security situation in Kosovo and KFOR's efforts to support Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
“They discussed the security situation in Kosovo and regional stability, as well as KFOR's efforts to support the EU-led dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, for which KFOR Commander asked to continue in a new and established spirit”.
General Bardonini also shared with Ambassador Antonini his pride in Italy's major contributions to KFOR”.
“Since 1999, the Italian contingent has been a key symbol of Italy's commitment to international security and stability in Kosovo”.
