Kosovo has entered a political and institutional crisis after failing to form state institutions after the last elections. In this difficult situation, the Kosovo Alliance of Business (AKB) has called for the creation of a non-party Technical Government to ensure the stability and functioning of the state.
The GDP has stressed that political parties are mismanaging the situation for narrow interests, leading the country to an institutional blockade that risks destabilizing the country. According to the UN, citizens are tired of uninhibited promises and political clashes that are damaging Kosovo's future.
In this context, The GDP has submitted several clear requirements for a Technical Government, including the return of full functioning of constitutional institutions and the Parliament, management of the economic and social crisis, as well as the country's preparation for new elections or a long-term political solution.
Moreover, The UN has demanded that this Technical Government be led by experts and professionals who could rule in a neutral and responsible manner to stabilise the country and enable a period of transition without party influence.
