EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice President Kaya Kallas will remain for official visit to Macedonia today. Kallas is on a three-day tour of the Western Balkans.
Kallas and Mickoski are expected to negotiate the country's European integration and to confirm the EU's commitment to Western Balkan countries.
As announced by the EU Delegation to the country, during the visit, Kallas will meet with Prime Minister Hristian Mickoski and members of the government, after which the joint press conference with the prime minister at the Government building will be held. Later, together with Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Timco Mucunski and Defence Minister Vlado Misselovski, Kallas will participate in the opening of the dialogue for security and protection between the EU and Macedonia, under the Partnership for Security and Protection signed in November 2024, which will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 2: 00 a.m.
This dialogue, as informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, presents an important step for deepening co-operation between Northern Macedonia and the European Union in the field of foreign and security policy, as well as the country's integration.

Kallas's visit is expected to end at “Europe House”, where he will meet a group of young people.
