Kallas repeats message: Leaders leave marginal-government divisions to form as soon as Kosovo is in first plan

On its trip, Kallas visited Kosovo, Serbia and Northern Macedonia, where she conveyed clear messages to each country.
“In Serbia, I requested that authorities accelerate reforms and clearly establish the country's strategic direction towards the EU by restoring confidence and devotion to democratic principles. I also talked to young people and representatives of civil society, who sought justice and responsibility, and their voices and energy are essential to moving forward”, she wrote.
As for Kosovo, Kallas appealed for overcoming political stalemate and the fastest formation of a functional government.
The “Liders must leave the marginal divisions and put Kosovo's future” first plan, she stressed.
While for Northern Macedonia, Kallas underlined that the country was the first in the region to sign a Partnership for Security and Protection with the EU and took advantage of the Western Balkans Growth Plan.
North Macedonia's “belongs to the European family, and now it is essential to continue on the path towards the EU”, she said.
