EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Kaya Kallas, who has started a visit to the region today going first to Belgrade, is expected to arrive in Pristina tomorrow.
The EU has made the agenda public. It says that the EU's top diplomat will meet the leaders of political parties, not to mention any institutions' officials.
“In Kosovo, High Representative Kallas will meet with representatives of political parties and civil society organisations. It will hold a press conference at the European House on May 22nd at 15:45, aired live to NBS. High Representative Kallas will visit the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX). She will also meet with KFOR Commander Enrico Bardonini”, said in Brussels' announcement.
As the Express finds out, Kallas's meetings with party leaders will be held at the EU Office in Pristina, which are invited to the level of party leaders and two other officials.
Last week, President Osmani met Kallas in Tirana under the European Political Community Summit, announcing when the EU official will come to Pristina she will not meet, as she will be visiting Switzerland.
Express from sources has managed to learn that AAKA leader Ramush Haradinaj will be one of the leaders who will meet Callas tomorrow at 18:40, while from LDK at the meeting shared with Kallas will be Chairman Lumir Abdijxhiku, Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri and Deputy Mayor Doarsa Kica-Reli.
Unlike President of the EU Council, who met with outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti in his office, a special meeting with Kurti is not mentioned in the EU report. Likely, Kurti from Kallas is treated by the EU as a party leader, not as acting prime minister as he calls himself the outgoing prime minister, as referred to by the EU office. However, parties still have published an official agenda about tomorrow's meetings. /Periscope/
