The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Kaya Kallas, has said they have begun to lift measures on Kosovo.
According to her, there is no shortcut to membership in the bloc.
At the media conference held during the stay in Kosovo, she has said Kosovo belongs to the European family.
“As a sign of our commitment, I can announce that the EU has gradually begun to remove measures presented in June 2023. The decision clears the way for major opportunities for Kosovo's development and draws ties to Europe. But it's conditioned to maintain deployment in the north. The closure of structures supported by Serbia undermines efforts towards deployment”, it has declared.
According to her, there is no shortcut to membership in the bloc.
At the media conference held during the stay in Kosovo, she has said Kosovo belongs to the European family.
