KFOR said [...]
KFOR said Kallas' visit was a unique opportunity for “to exchange views to the highest level representatives on regional stability, NATO-EU co-operation in the Western Balkans and on the strategic role of international diplomacy in the revival of Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue”.
“In particular, General Bardoni stressed the primary role of close co-ordination between KFOR and the European Union in resolving remaining issues that still hinder the achievement of a fully safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo”, KFOR said.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
