Kadrij: Constitutional Court Must Determine a Timeline for Election of Chief Parliamentary

AAK MP Time Kadrijaj, who the day before submitted a request to the Constitutional Court through which she calls constitutional interpretations on procedures and procrastination for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament. Kadrijaj has said he expects the Court to treat the subject seriously and set a time limit for the institution [...]
Kadrijaj has said that they expect the Court to treat the subject seriously and set a time limit for the constitutionalisation of the Assembly as it is defined for forming the Government.
When I submitted my application to the Constitutional Court I requested that the subject be treated urgently because of the political blockade. Perhaps it is a unique case that the court can also address this issue for the treatment or duration of how long a political party has the right to exploit the right to run a candidate even if it does not get votes because it can infinitely make such blockades. The prime minister is voted into a political agreement, with a political coalition. Never has the Speaker of the Parliament been able to vote on other parties that do not have a political agreement. That what the LVV is looking for doesn't make any sense. We don't owe it to a candidate. But, however, we have provided an alternative for Kosovo and not LVV to get out of political blockades. We hope that the Constitutional Court will soon return an answer. But we hope that I will seriously address the issues we have remained. I don't judge the decisions of the Constitutional Court because we respect them, but maybe I'll determine a timeline as it is about forming the government” said Kadrijaj for RTV21, transmission Periscope.
MP Kadrijaj has also criticised Constituting Session leader Avni Dehari.
We have launched an open voting process now are required to move into a closed process, which I think is an LV game because even if that commission is voted on, we as MPs will not participate in the vote at all and the result will still be the same. This is a game the LVV is using. But even if the prime speaker is voted, the LVV will become a game even with the election of Deputy Speakers of the Parliament”, she stressed.
