In a post on the X platform, the embassy has shared pictures of the couple and has expressed deep pain over the loss.
“Victims were at the height of their lives”, said in response.
According to the embassy, both were shot dead by an attacker, whom they described as a terrorist.
A terrorist shot and killed them as they emerged from an event in the Jewish Museum in the American capital”, the statement said.
