“Israel will attack nuclear objects”, Iran reacts: The U.S. will take responsibility

Aracchi reacted after CNN reported that Israel may be preparing to conduct attacks in Iran.
Iran and the US, Israel's largest ally, will hold the fifth round of nuclear talks in Rome on Friday.
Washington says Iran's enrichment of uranium can be used to develop nuclear bombs, but Tehran denies it.
Citing intelligence sources, CNN reported on Tuesday that it is not yet clear whether Israel has made the final decision on any military action, and that American officials have different opinions whether the Israelis will finally decide to attack Iran.
<x0Iran strongly warns Israel's Zionist regime against any adventure. And, [we] will respond crucially to any threat or illegal action from this regime”, Aracchi said in a letter to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Aracchi said Iran will label Washington as “participants” in any such attack, and that Tehran will be forced to take over “specific measures” to protect its facilities and nuclear materials if threats continue.
According to him, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will later be announced for these steps.
Although Aracchi did not show what measures were under consideration, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader said in April that Tehran could suspend co-operation with the IAEA or transfer rich material to safe and unknown locations.
In a statement published Thursday, Iran's Revolutionary Guard warned that Israel would face a devastating and decisive “response” if it attacks Iran.
“They are trying to scare us with war, but they are miscalculating because they are not aware of the powerful popular and military support that the Islamic republic can mobilise under war terms”, said Garda spokesman Alimohammad Naini.
The failure of US-Iran talks or a new nuclear agreement that does not address Israeli concerns about developing nuclear weapons from Iran through enrichment could spur Israel to attack its main regional enemy, diplomats say.
On Tuesday, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said the US is making “tepron” at its request that Tehran stop enriching uranium. He even voiced doubt that talks on a new nuclear agreement will succeed.
Tehran insists its nuclear energy programme is exclusively for civilian purposes.
Iran and Israel were involved in direct shootout last year, in April and October, increasing the risk of a regional conflict. /Periscope/
