The European Union will hold the fifth intergovernmental conference with Albania today.
It is about opening negotiations for the third chapter, which relates to competitiveness and inclusive growth.
The meeting will serve for opening negotiations with Albania for opening the third chapter linked to “Concursability and Entrance Growth”.
This grouping includes eight areas or chapters related to digital transformation and media, economic and monetary policy, science and research, education and culture.
The Albanian delegation will be headed by Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani.
In eight months negotiations have been opened on 27 areas. The 4th Intergovernmental Conference was held on April 14th in Luxembourg, where the group reached the interior market.
Albania aims to open up the remaining groups of chapters within this year, while within 2027 it ends negotiations with 2030 as the year of full membership in the European family. /Euronews.al/ Periscope.
